Nettie Alvarez is a Virginia native that comes to us with over 15 years of nursing experience in various acute care settings. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Patrick and Henry Community College in 2014. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Radford University in 2022, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in 2025. Nettie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Southside Urology and Nephrology in October 2025. She loves reading, live comedy shows, relaxing by the water, spending time together and visiting new places with her husband and 3 children.
