Brandi Thompson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated healthcare professional and lifelong resident of Halifax County, VA. She acquired 14 years of nursing experience, including seven years specializing in hemodialysis, before advancing to the role of Nurse Practitioner in 2020. Brandi earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) from Southside Virginia Community College in 2006, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Liberty University in 2015, and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in 2020.
She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and holds active memberships in the AANP, the Virginia Nurses Association (VNA), and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP). Brandi accumulated over five years of Cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience prior to joining Southside Urology & Nephrology in January 2026.
