Ms. Wells began employment with the Southside Urology & Nephrology as a nurse practitioner in Urology on August 2, 2010. "Betsy"
graduated from George Washington High School in 1978. She received her RN degree from Danville Regional Medical Center in
1992. In 2006, Betsy received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2009, she received
her Master of Science in nursing degree and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification, from the University of Virginia
in Charlottesville, Virginia. Betsy worked as a registered nurse, then as an acute care nurse practitioner, with Danville
Hematology and Oncology prior to joining our practice. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and
Oncology Nursing Society. She is married and lives in Danville.
